She Henge -
Tamzin Blair
She Henge is a semi circle of illuminated feminine figures, each standing tall and strong in quiet unity. Created using natural materials gathered from Papatūānuku—such as leaves, ferns, and native textures—each figure honours the beauty, strength, and wisdom of wāhine in connection with the living world. These glowing forms radiate presence and mana, inviting viewers into a reflective space that feels both sacred and grounded. Inspired by ancient stone circles and reimagined through a contemporary lens, She Henge celebrates the feminine as a force deeply rooted in nature.
Artist Bio
Light is more than just a source of illumination, it is an elemental energy that shapes our mood, our perception, and our relationship with the world. Light can make us feel joy, wonder, curiosity, or peace. As a light artist, I aim to capture these feelings and share them with others through my creations. I use light as a medium to express my fascination with nature, especially the way light interacts with water and plants. My art is inspired by the playful, wild, and free aspects of light that we experience in nature.
