"Golden seed" is an ode to the magic and majesty of nature. The eternal growth that characterise all beings.

Following patterns that are often beyond our understanding, we keep being mesmerised by the evolution of life and its infinite elevation.

Throughout the cultures and generations, we collectively learnt to recognise those numbers, shapes and colors that defines continuous transformations, and integrate it to our existence.

Following the Fibonacci sequence (Golden ratio), 7 "seed" shape of different sizes merge together in an elegant and organic way, creating the "Golden seed".

Arranged as a triptych column, the sculpture offer a 360° point of view, symbolizing infinite renewal, the cycle of life and unity.

At night, embedded LEDstrips sow new seeds to the structure with vibrant colors, celebrating hope and positivity for the days to come.

In the vein of the "Diamond" project, "Golden Seed" is in line with OffKutt strategy to create modular art pieces, and immerse the viewer with eco-friendly designs.

Artist Bio

Originally from France, Fiber has worked as a lighting designer for the live music industry for over 10 years. He constantly seeks immersive storytelling, using light, video mapping, and homemade light sources to give the audience a memorable experience.

Discovering a new passion for woodworking while based in New Zealand, the French creative debuts a new journey into art using recycled materials.

Mixing physical sculpture and digital art, Fiber aims to create art pieces where each element enhances each other, bringing joy and happiness to the audience, as well as sharing knowledge and inviting everyone to be creative too.
