On the last Saturday of the festival, just before the light trail and festival ends, we hold our “Lights on Parade”

Our community night includes:

• Light costume and lantern parade - everyone is invited to join or watch as we illuminate the night

• Dress up in sparkling lights, create your own lantern, glide on skates, or let the kids hop on their scooters for a lively procession

• Roaming street performers & buskers and exciting pop-up shows

• After the parade join the mid-winter night market with live music, market stalls and food trucks at Wharaurangi
