Artist Bio

I convey to the viewer the same magical world that I see, full of bold colour, and patterns that create a sense of movement. My creations push and pull between illusion and the natural world. 

I create artworks in acrylic, hand painted paper collage, and occasionally installations on trees. The inspiration for the subjects that I create comes from the countryside that surrounds me in Galatea, New Zealand. The inspiration for the magic in my creations comes from these 4 artists Yayoi Kusama, Gustav Klimt, David Hockney and Friedensreich Hunderwasser.
